Hair Care Guide

How to Care for Your Virgin Remy Hair

Our virgin remy hair is natural and unprocessed, and the cuticles are intact. These features make our hair tangle-free and easy to care for and style. Please follow the hair-care instructions below to help your hair keep its natural luster and healthy look longer

Before washing, brush your hair to eliminate any tangles and knots. Hold your hair as if it were in a ponytail. Gently brush through your hair in a downward motion using a brush, such as a loop brush or a wide-tooth comb, that are better suited for hair extensions.

Shampoo and condition your hair regularly. Use a low pH, high-moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, without alcohol or other harmful substances. Shampoo and condition your hair at least once a week. While showering, gently massage conditioner into your hair and rinse it out with lukewarm water. We suggest using products made especially for your hair texture. We recommend you precondition your extensions before washing by applying conditioner to the hair without washing it out. Then wash hair normally and follow with conditioner.

Dry your hair When you are done washing your hair, gently dry your hair by patting it with a towel. Blow dry your hair on low heat if you need to. Every few weeks, use leave-in conditioner for your extensions while your extensions are still damp. Don’t use leave-in conditioner more frequently than every two weeks to avoid buildup.

Style your hair. Once your hair is dry, use a soft-bristle brush, starting from the bottom and gently working your way up, and style your hair as desired. Do not tug or pull on the hair.

At night, tie or wrap up your hair gently to avoid tangles. Do not use hair spray, gel, or mousse because they will split the ends and make your hair dry.
